Obtain a DOI for your datasets

Similarly to journal articles you can now assign a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to a research dataset or data collection. A DOI makes it possible to create a stable link to the dataset. Even if the location of the data changes, the dataset will always be found. Above all, a DOI enables citation of your datasets thus ensuring proper credits to the creator of the data.

Each dataset in 4TU.ResearchData will be provided with a DOI that can be linked to or cited in a publication. When writing your publication, you can already reserve a DOI for the data that you wish to link to and are planning to archive in 4TU.ResearchData (use links below).
